Kate previously worked in Retail Management for many years before retraining in accountancy.
She has worked in industry as a group accountant for a steel distribution company, so has firsthand experience of what clients deal with on a day to day basis.

Gill prepares yearend accounts and management accounts for clients and oversees bookkeeping and VAT return preparation.
Outside of work Gill enjoys catching up with friends, gardening, walking in the Cotswolds and going to the theatre, especially attending the different Cheltenham Festivals during the year.
Michelle Balchin

Michelle prepares yearend accounts and management accounts and gives support on VT and SAGE accounts software.
Outside of work Michelle keeps very busy with her two children, and enjoys running and going to the gym.
Ben Edwards

Ben prepares yearend accounts, and VAT returns for clients. He is currently studying for the ACCA exams to become a qualified chartered accountant.
Outside of work Ben plays football for a local team, and enjoys going to the cinema and the gym.
Alison Hyett
Position: Personal Tax Adviser

Alison is responsible for preparing clients’ self assessment tax returns, dealing with payroll issues including calculations, online filing of P35 employer annual returns and P11D expenses and benefits.
Outside of work Alison enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, as well as motorsport, music and theatre, kitchen gardening, and cooking.
Paddy Walters

Paddy is WG’s bookkeeper and also helps with various administrative tasks, including invoicing, the collection of direct debits, and ensuring WG meet its professional obligations. Paddy helps clients with bookkeeping and by liaising with HMRC if and when issues occur.
Outside of work Paddy enjoys spending time with her family, walking the countryside, gardening, cooking and trying to keep fit.
Virginia Mullan

Virginia is an administrator at WG two days a week, she helps clients by keeping their statutory records up to date by filing companies annual returns and submitting any changes to company information as they arise. The rest of the week she works at a local church as a Vicar’s Secretary.
Outside of work Virginia occasionally hosts foreign business executives who come to Cheltenham to learn English. She is passionate about walking, history and current affairs. She is also learning to play bridge.
Ian Gibb
Position: Marketing Co-ordinator

Ian has recently finished studying at The University of Birmingham, leaving with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. He has a background in customer service, and is now branching into the marketing side of business.
Outside of work Ian plays a lot of football and is a keen cyclist. He is also an avid follower of Cheltenham Town Football Club.
